Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, is a busy commercial city where all the activities take place. Being the biggest city, Colombo is a modern and developed city with tall buildings and major places of interest for tourists. Fort district is the historical place in Colombo as it holds many old building from the eras of Dutch, Portuguese and British rule. It is the bustling area with shops, markets, government buildings etc. One of the major shopping complexes, Pettah Bazar, is also located towards the east of Fort. The shops here sell everything from vegetables to gemstone and so on. Other places of interest in Colombo are Galle Face Green, where you can watch sunset and enjoy evening walks. Cinammon Gardens is another place in Colombo, where you can see elegant bungalows and the beautiful Viharamaha Devi Park. Some of the other attractions for tourists in Colombo include museums, churches, bars, restaurants, cafes, kiosks and so on. All rooms are suites and each suite is uniquely different in configeration. All have custom designed furniture and styling. There are 3 categories of suites - Traveler Suites (8), Corporate Suites (3), Royal Suite (1). All suites have Nakamitchi hifi and flat screen TVs, Ipod movie player. Corporate suites comes with a laptop, Fax/photocopy, Double bath. The Royal Suite comes with a private jaccuzi.

The main restuarnat HVN serves fusion whilst the ZAZA serves Tapas. It has a chilled out lounge bar called ICE CUBE, and a Tea garden called T REPUBLIC. We have probably the first pink swimming pool in the world.

Casa Colombo is off a private cul de sac on the Galle Road, in Bambalapitiya. It is five minutes most business districts in Colombo. Travel on the Galle Road, to Bambalapitiya, passing Vajira Road and Visaka Road on your left, you come to the LUMALA Cycle Centre. The hotel is on a lane adjacent to this building.
